What is the difference between PET PP PE materials?

PET is a milky white or light yellow bai, highly crystalline polymer with a smooth and shiny surface. It has excellent physical and mechanical properties in a wide temperature range. The long-term use temperature can reach 120°C. The electrical insulation is excellent. Even at high temperature and high frequency, its electrical properties are still good, but the corona resistance is poor. Creep resistance, fatigue resistance, friction resistance and dimensional stability are all very good.

PP: Polypropylene. Odorless, tasteless and non-toxic. It is the lightest kind of resin in common use. Excellent mechanical properties. Good heat resistance, continuous use temperature can reach 110-120℃. It has good chemical stability and does not interact with most chemicals except for strong oxidants. Water resistance is particularly good. Excellent electrical insulation. However, it is easy to age and has poor impact strength at low temperatures. Application fields Used to make injection molded products, films, pipes, plates, fibers, coatings, etc. It is widely used in household appliances, automobile, chemical, construction, light industry and other fields.

PE: Polyethylene is odorless and non-toxic. Chemical resistant, insoluble in solvents at room temperature. Low temperature resistance, the lowest operating temperature is -70～-100℃. Good electrical insulation and low water absorption. The physical and mechanical properties vary with density. Industrial low-density polyethylene mainly uses high-pressure (110-200MPa) and high-temperature (150-300°C) free radical polymerization.
