Plastic recycling cleaning has once again progressed

  Recently, Coca-Cola announced that it has cooperated with companies such as Ioniqa Technologies, Indorama and Mares Circulares to launch sample bottles produced from recycled marine plastics. It is reported that the first introduction of about 300 sample bottles, made of 25% Mediterranean and beach recycled marine plastics, these bottles are designed and developed to demonstrate the transformation potential of recycling technology, which can be recycled with plastic recycling lines.

  It is understood that the recycling process of the recycled bottle uses Indama-enhanced recycling technology to decompose the plastic by the depolymerization process to remove impurities in the low-quality recyclables, so that its performance is close to that of fresh plastic resin. This means that low-grade plastics, which are commonly used for incineration or landfilling, can now acquire new life, allowing more plastics to be recycled and cleaned, thereby reducing the production of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) from fossil fuel feedstocks.
