From a technical perspective, it is always an inevitable problem to recycle white opaque PET bottles to ensure production speed and product performance such as light blocking. Sidel has proven technically that it is possible to make opaque light-blocking PET bottles from recycled materials and can achieve normal output.

The latest generation blow molding machine is used to process recycled materials. This bottle is formulated with a white single-layer PET bottle masterbatch, which is then submitted for recycling evaluation through the European PET Bottle Platform (EPBP) regulations.

The results show that PET melt has good processability in viscosity, pressure and stability. In addition, the filterability of high-quality PET melt demonstrates its purity and consistency. The PET melt not only has no agglomeration, but also exhibits a very stable color. The final material always remains white at all levels.
