Does PET plastic bottle recycling need to "twist the cap and tear off the label"?
Coke bottle is a common plastic bottle, and it is also a container that people come into contact with every day, such as various beverage bottles, soy sauce bottles and so on.
The initial use of PET was for man-made fibers, film, tape, etc.
Plastic bottles made of PET have the following characteristics:
1. Light weight and easy to carry (the weight is about 1/7 to 1/10 of the same size glass bottle)
2. Impact resistance, high strength (can show sufficient strength when dropped)
3. Use in compliance with food hygiene regulations
4. Good transparency and luster, as a container can show a beautiful appearance
5. The container can be recycled and reused, which is good for environmental protection (relatively speaking).
Because of its toughness, light weight, airtightness, and acid and alkali resistance, Coke bottles are often used as bottled beverage packaging for mineral water, soft drinks, juices, carbonated drinks, etc.
From the perspective of the production process, the body and cap of the PET plastic bottle are completely produced separately. The material of the bottle body and the bottle cap are different, mainly because of the elastic coefficient.
Since PET has a small elastic coefficient and is easily deformed, it is very unsafe to seal as a liquid. Therefore, HDPE is usually chosen to make bottle caps and gaskets for easy transportation and sales.
Because of this, in Japan, Taiwan and other regions, the bottle cap, bottle body, and label are separated before recycling PET bottles.
However, in Europe, there is no need to separate the bottle cap, bottle body and label.
As a professional PET bottle recycling and washing line factory, if PET bottle label is not made of PVC, it does not matter if the caps and labels are not separated.
